Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupports Allen Harims mission, vision and valuesBe able to communicate with other associates at all levels, have a good attendance record, Reporting team member performance records to the Management teamEnsuring the department is in compliance with GMP, HACCP, SSOP, and USDA standardsMust assist in the training of all associatesEnsure team members properly wear PPE, and that they understand safety procedures. Set daily objectives and communicate them to their team. Will be responsible for paperwork relating to the departmentSupervise cleanup work performed during breaks such as lunch, and in between shifts to meet USDA and state requirementsMust be able to act as Supervisor when neededSaturdays to be expectedAll other related duties as assignedQualificationsTo Perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Possess superior interpersonal and communication skills. Education and/or ExperienceHigh School Diploma with at least four years of poultry experienceKnowledge of Poultry Plant or Food production Knowledge/SkillsPC skills required (MS Office)Excellent problem solving and analytical skills preferred. High degree of attention to detailExcellent Communications skills as frequent communication is required with management and staff. Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a manner that is consistent with the essential job functions. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesList the supervisory responsibilities the position must perform; include the department or position titles responsible for and the level of authority exercised in performing the responsibilities.

Must have the ability to enter all areas of the plant and offices.

Must be able to climb and crawl in confined spaces.

Must be able to communicate with all levels of employees as well as outside vendors and government agencies.
