Summary of Responsibilities A shift lead at Beignets & Brew serves as a key point of management during a specific work period, overseeing various aspects of daily operations. Your responsibilities include opening or closing duties, staff management, and customer service. You play a crucial role in training and developing the team, ensuring adherence to quality standards, managing inventory, and handling cash transactions accurately. The shift lead is also responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment, effective communication within the team, and problem-solving on-the-fly to address any issues that may arise during their shift. Overall, a shift lead plays a pivotal role in creating a positive and well-functioning atmosphere within Beignets & Brew, contributing to the overall success of the business.
Essential Functions:
Guaranteeing the highest level of customer service: address any customer inquiries, complaints or special requests. Monitoring the quality of food and beverages. Opening/Closing duties are completed and signed off. Understand the POS (refunds, discounts, gift cards, etc.) Cash Handling; managing cash handling procedures ensuring accuracy in transactions, managing the cash drawers and completing cash drops daily. Experienced and skilled at each station. Train new Krewe members at each station while providing guidance. Compliance with health and safety standards are being met. Quick to problem solve addressing any issues that may arise. Ensuring Krewe members adhere to company policies and procedures. Key holder responsibilities for opening/closing the store.
Required Experience:
Experienced Beignets & Brew Krewe member. Must be able to work within the State and Federal guidelines.
Physical Requirements:
Creating a positive attitude to ALL Krewe members and managers even while under pressure. Walking and standing throughout your shifts. Bending, lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds. Capable of handling multiple tasks while maintaining a positive demeanor in occasionally challenging work environments.
Working Conditions:
May be required to work early mornings, late nights, weekends & holidays and may have additional opening/closing responsibilities. Guests may want to sit on the patio outside (weather permitting) patio area needs to be cleaned and presentable at all times. Lead Krewe members by displaying Beignets & Brew's core values in communication. Krewe members must be in full uniform and appropriate hygiene required.
Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
