Responsibilities Scoop and serve a variety of ice cream flavors and toppings accurately and efficiently to meet customer preferences. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions smoothly. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give accurate change while maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Assist customers with food service orders, upselling additional treats or beverages to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including cleaning scoops, utensils, counters, and equipment regularly. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, supporting overall food preparation activities. Ensure food safety standards are upheld by following proper handling procedures and sanitation guidelines at all times. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or food industry roles with a focus on customer service. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for retail transactions. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods without sacrificing quality or speed. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently and courteously. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
