Job Description
This is a Front of House Supervisor role. Tips are a benefit in addition to $17 an hour pay! Sign on Bonus totals $450!!! $150 after 60 days $150 after 90 days $150 after 180 days We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Restaurant Supervisor. What will you be doing most days?
- Ensure prompt, friendly service according to the restaurant guidelines
- Direct overall activities and performance of employees on a shift-by-shift basis
- Manage the responsible service of alcohol. Monitor alcohol awareness. Establish a positive relationship with the local authorities
- Promote an atmosphere of positive guest relations by handling guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain and inspect dining room, food receiving area, preparation, production, and storage areas to ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
- Supervise cleaning and maintenance of equipment and arrange for repairs, contracts, and other services.
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness and organization for both the interior and exterior of the restaurant
- Oversee FOH staffing, ensuring that adequate staffing is maintained, and that overtime is minimized
- Ensure sales forecasting and schedules reflect desired productivity and match daily labor controls
- Perform checkouts of food servers, Room Service and bartenders ensuring that all tickets are accounted for, all comps have been signed, and the proper amount of cash and all credit card vouchers are obtained
- Prepare reports at end of shift What are the requirements for this position?
- You have prior experience in a quality luxury hotel, restaurant or bar brand
- You have knowledge of basic Food and Beverage operations, track record of strong leadership and strategic planning skills, and proven achievements in optimizing guest and team member engagement
- You have experience in successfully leading a fast-paced environment and prioritizing demands
- You have strong interpersonal relations and leadership abilities. Exemplifies a passionate "can do" attitude with natural leadership and motivational skills.
- You have working knowledge financials and budgeting systems with a clear understanding of cost controls and driving topline revenue
- You have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- You demonstrate a passion for people with a strong network of contacts within the local events and restaurant/bar industry Physical Requirements for this Position This can be a physically demanding position.
