Certified Dietary Manager Our company is seeking a seeking a highly skilled Certified Dietary Manager to join our growing team of healthcare professionals! The Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) will be responsible for the daily operations of the foodservice department, according to facility policy and procedures and federal/ state regulations. The Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) provides leadership and guidance to ensure that food quality, safety standards, and client expectations are satisfactorily met. Additionally, the CDM will be responsible for managing the department's budget, supervising staff, and maintaining inventory levels. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)
Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing menus that meet the nutritional needs of patients/residents while maintaining quality and variety. Ordering, receiving, and storing food in compliance with all state and federal regulations. Ensuring that food is prepared using safe and sanitary methods. Monitoring and organizing kitchen operations, including cleaning and maintenance. Managing departmental budgets, analyzing food costs and modifying menus accordingly to stay within budget. Supervising and training staff in proper food handling, preparation, service, and sanitation procedures. Maintain accurate meal counts and food cost reports. Interacting with patients/residents and families to resolve any issues related to their dietary needs. Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to the dietary department based on established standards and guidelines. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)
Qualifications:
Graduate of Dietary Manager's Program, 2-yr, or 4-yr foodservice program Successful completion of CDM Credentialing Exam with active certification status 2 years' experience in foodservice management Skill in motivating, coaching, and supervising foodservice personnel Current awareness of legislation and regulations influencing the practice of standards of care If you meet these qualifications and are excited to work in an environment that values the people we serve, please apply today!
