From member dining nights to unforgettable tournaments and lively social events, the clubhouse is the heart of the experience and we're looking for a passionate, service-driven leader to make it shine. The Opportunity The Director of Food & Beverage is a high-energy leadership role for someone who loves hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to elevate both service and experience. You'll lead a talented F&B team, partner closely with our Executive Chef and create a dining and event culture that members rave about. This is the perfect role for a creative, detail-oriented, people-first leader who can blend high standards, fresh ideas, and strong execution, all while having fun doing it.

Job Duties:

Leadership & Operations Lead all Food & Beverage operations including dining outlets, banquets, events, and member bar service. Create a warm, polished, and consistent member experience day in and day out. Set expectations, inspire teamwork, and build a culture of excellence and accountability.

• Manages all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards.

• Must comply with all health and safety regulations, stay up to date with food and beverage trends and practices, and be guest-oriented and service-minded Order all beer, wine and N/A Beverages Complete biweekly payroll for your team Recruit, train, and develop a hospitality-minded service team. Member Experience & Service Be a visible leader on the floor — greeting members, building relationships, and elevating service standards Ensure service is efficient, attentive, and aligned with club expectations Collaborate with club leadership on programming and experience enhancements Events & Social Life Oversee execution of tournaments, member socials, private events, and club dining experiences Work with events and culinary teams to ensure flawless service and memorable moments Bring creativity and energy to new event concepts, themed dinners, and member engagement Financial & Administrative Manage department budgets, forecasting, and cost control (labor, COGS, beverage, inventory) Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability and service standards Maintain purchasing systems, vendor relationships, inventory control, and product quality Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service policies What Success Looks Like To Us Members feel welcomed, known, and excited to dine at the club Service runs smoothly and consistently with strong standards across the board Events are executed flawlessly and exceed expectations Your team is motivated, trained, and proud to work at Iron Horse The F&B operation performs strongly while maintaining a top-tier experience What We're Looking For Proven leadership experience 5+ years in Food & Beverage (private club experience strongly preferred) A strong service mindset and passion for hospitality Confident, positive team leader who thrives in a hands-on environment Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience managing budgets, labor, inventory, and financial reporting Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a lively club environment Why Iron Horse At Iron Horse, you're not stepping into a routine restaurant role, you're stepping into a club where community matters, and where the F&B program is central to the member experience.
