This position provides operational leadership within the warehouse and serves as a back-up to the Warehouse Supervisor. The Warehouse Lead contributes to efficient material flow, accurate documentation, and effective coordination of inbound and outbound activities. Functions of the
Position:
Monitor and direct inbound/outbound processes, order pulling, put-away, and trailer loading/unloading to ensure timely and safe execution. Assist with product put-away, work order pulling, distribution transfers, and loading/unloading activities as required. Support dock door assignments and maintain efficient workflow throughout the day; consolidate inventory and create space for inbound product. Ensure all documentation ispleted accurately and in accordance with established procedures; assist in training new loaders and pickers. Investigate shortages and order discrepancies; collaborate with loading teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Maintain proper LOT rotation and allergen control, includingpliance with FEFO, FIFE, FIFO, and organic product handling requirements. Ensure daily cycle count checks arepleted and variances are addressed promptly.
Education, Experience, and Knowledge:
Minimum of two (2) years of warehouse experience required High school diploma or equivalent required Experience in food operations preferred
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Strong problem-solving and team-building skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and execute projects effectively Ability to lift up to 50 pounds This position is subject to mandatory overtime based on business needs.
