This position is for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants the opportunity to lead and develop others. You do not have to know everything on day one. We can teach you our systems and operations. What we're looking for is someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, good judgment, and a willingness to learn and lead. What You'll Do As a Shift Leader, you will help lead the restaurant during your shift and set the example for the team.
Responsibilities include:
Leading and motivating Team Members Creating a positive, encouraging work environment Helping ensure fast, accurate, and friendly service Maintaining Chick-fil-A standards for food quality, cleanliness, and hospitality Positioning Team Members and adjusting throughout the shift based on business needs Coaching and developing Team Members Solving problems and making good decisions during busy periods Helping ensure breaks, shift transitions, opening, and closing responsibilities are completed properly Supporting other leaders and working together as one team Taking ownership of the guest experience What We're Looking For Our strongest leaders are people who: Lead by example Are dependable and show up ready to work Stay calm and focused when we're busy Communicate clearly and respectfully Are willing to coach others and also be coached themselves Notice what needs to be done without always having to be told Care about doing things the right way Have a sense of urgency while remaining accurate Treat Team Members and guests with respect Want to grow personally and professionally Previous restaurant or leadership experience is helpful, but leadership potential, character, and work ethic are equally important.
