Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Cafe Supervisor, where you will lead in delivering exceptional food service experiences in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to show your culinary skills, hospitality and management expertise.. As a leader on the floor, you will oversee daily operations and ensure customer satisfaction. Duties Supervise daily cafe operations, ensuring efficient food preparation, service delivery, and adherence to safety standards Lead and motivate staff through training, development, and performance management to uphold high service quality Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste using systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS Oversee cash handling procedures, including balancing registers and processing transactions accurately Coordinate shift schedules and manage staffing levels to meet customer demand during peak hours Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across all areas of the cafe Assist with food production, cooking, and food handling as needed to support team efforts during busy periods Experience Supervisory or management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with a focus on food service management Background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within casual dining or fine dining settings Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and sales tracking Knowledge of inventory control practices, food safety standards, and budgeting within the food industry Leadership in staff training, team management, interviewing candidates, and developing talent Hospitality management roles including restaurant management is highly desirable Customer service skills with the ability to handle cash handling responsibilities confidently
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
