Food Service Manager /Store Manager Job Summary:
The Food Service Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing daily kitchen and foodservice operations during their shift. This role ensures food quality, cleanliness, and excellent customer service, while supporting and guiding team members to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the food service team during assigned shifts
- Ensure all food is prepared and served according to safety and quality standards
- Monitor food inventory and assist with restocking and prep
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining area
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
- Train and coach team members on food prep and service standards
- Provide excellent customer service and handle guest concerns
- Complete shift reports and communicate with management as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior experience in food service or quick service restaurants
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ServSafe certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
