Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Lead to join our vibrant team. This pivotal role involves assisting overseeing daily kitchen operations, managing food production and safety standards, supervising staff, and ensuring exceptional quality and service. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for culinary excellence, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience in fine dining and food management. Duties Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Oversee all aspects of food safety sanitizing procedures, maintaining a clean and compliant kitchen environment. Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to optimize profitability. Coordinate menu planning and food production for daily operations and special catering events. Monitor food handling practices, ensuring adherence to health regulations and safety standards. Train team members on cooking techniques, food service management, and hospitality best practices. Oversee shift management, ensuring smooth operations during busy periods while maintaining high standards of quality. Skills Proven experience in banquet service, catering, or fine dining environments. Strong supervising and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff. Extensive culinary experience with expertise in food preparation, cooking, and menu planning. Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and kitchen management principles. Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and proper food handling techniques. Experience in restaurant or hospitality management with a focus on food service excellence. Leadership qualities that foster a positive team environment while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Pay starts at $20 per hour for a qualified candidate. Must be able to work in the evenings.
