Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Food & Beverage Area Supervisor is responsible for supervision of all aspects of daily operation for assigned areas and Team Members within the park, ensuring park values and daily goals are achieved, while also ensuring Team Members exceed guest's expectation by efficiently preparing, taking, checking and distributing each guest's order in a manner consistent with our company values.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Train workers in food preparation, and in service, sanitation, and safety procedures Resolve customer complaints regarding food service Supervise and participate in kitchen and dining area cleaning activities Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service, as well as complete disciplinary write-ups Perform various financial activities such as cash handling and payroll Assign duties, responsibilities and work stations to employees in accordance with work requirements Analyze operational problems, such as theft and waste, and establish procedures to alleviate these problems Perform personnel actions, such as hiring staff, providing Team Member orientation and training, and conducting supervisory activities, such as creating work schedules Completes all applicable department paperwork accurately and thoroughly Maintain departmental objectives, budgets, policies, procedures, and strategies in regards to cost of sales, labor and per cap Ensure assigned locations are staffed properly and open and close at their scheduled times Recommend measures for improving work procedures and worker performance to increase service quality and enhance job safety Assist in weekly inventories Protect company assets: money, merchandise, and equipment. Maintain accurate records and loss prevention techniques by reporting any shoplifting, counterfeit bills, or any other activities that may be detrimental to the park Must be willing and able to handle sensitive information and accurately account for cash and credit transactions Monitor the proper labeling and storing of food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage to ensure the freshest product is being served Must be willing to work outside of his or her zone of assignment to fulfill general park needs on occasion Ensure compliance with all Herschend Family Entertainment and Wild Adventures policies and procedures Represents the company to guests and other team members in a positive and friendly manner Satisfies Wild Adventures' standards for performance and conduct.
