Job Description

Overview We are looking for a dependable, outgoing, confident, and highly capable Team Lead to become a key member of the leadership team. This position is designed for someone who is ready to take on a significant responsibility and become fully crossed-trained in both our front-of-house Team Lead and back-of-house Shift Lead positions. Responsibilities of the Team Lead Oversee the front desk operations, ensuring efficient check-in/check-out processes for guests Managing the front desk and customer interactions Overseeing the entire staff during your shift Supporting and directing the Shift Lead and counselors Addressing customer questions, concerns, and complaints Handling dog injuries, illness, and other incidents Communicating with pet parents regarding their dogs Making decisions and taking ownership when issues arise Ensuring company policies and safety procedures are followed Monitoring the overall operation of the facility communicating important information to management Training and coaching employees Holding team members accountable to company standards Making sure the facility is operating safely, efficiently, and professionally Skills Demonstrates leadership skills and has experience supervising staff and managing teams effectively Communicated clearly and professionally Excellent judgment and decision making skills Can remain calm when dealing with injuries, illness, complaints, or unexpected situations Takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do Knowledge of health & safety protocols including first aid and CPR certification preferred Very efficient when completing tasks Familiarity with large-scale kennel operations is advantageous. Previous leadership experience is strongly preferred. Dog daycare, boarding, veterinary, and leadership experience is a plus. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per year
