Summary of Job Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations to ensure timely and quality food preparation. Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with local and federal regulations. Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimize waste to control food costs effectively. Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen team members to promote skill development and maintain high performance. Collaborate with management to plan menus, implement new recipes, and adjust kitchen operations as needed. Monitor kitchen equipment and facilities to ensure proper maintenance and functionality. Resolve any operational issues or conflicts within the kitchen promptly and professionally.
Summary of Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced high-volume kitchen in a full-service restaurant. Experience with ALL of the following stations: Fry, Oven, Grill, Saute, Pantry, Pizza Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role within a kitchen setting. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices. Open availability and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Good time management and attention to detail Positive attitude and ability to follow direction Reliable and able to work scheduled shifts
