As a Shift Leader at Barrio Burrito Bar, you'll be at the heart of our fast-paced operations , ensuring smooth and efficient shifts while maintaining high food quality and top-tier customer service . You'll lead by example , guiding and supporting the team, keeping the kitchen running efficiently, and ensuring an outstanding dining experience. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work alongside your team in both front-of-house and kitchen operations , stepping in wherever needed to keep things moving.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Run efficient, high-energy shifts in a fast-paced environment. Train and support team members, ensuring smooth workflow and teamwork . Maintain food quality and safety standards , ensuring all ingredients are fresh and prepared properly. Oversee kitchen operations, including grilling, sautéing, assembling burritos, and ensuring proper food prep . Monitor inventory levels and restock ingredients during shifts. Ensure the restaurant remains clean, organized, and compliant with food safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service , handling guest concerns or special requests professionally. Assist with cash handling, register operations, and order accuracy . Step in to support kitchen, service, and cashier duties during peak hours.

What We're Looking For:

Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment preferred. Strong teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills . Ability to multitask, stay organized, and lead under pressure . A self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable work ethic. Basic understanding of kitchen equipment, food handling, and prep techniques is a plus.
