Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Lead to assist with daily culinary operations in an upscale hospitality environment. As a crucial member of our team, you will lead food preparation, manage kitchen staff, ensure food safety standards, and uphold service quality. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise, supervisory skills, and passion for hospitality in a fast-paced setting. Duties Help supervise and coordinate kitchen activities, including food production, food handling, and food service management help oversee food preparation to ensure high-quality dishes that meet dining standards Assist with inventory control and inventory management processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels Enforce strict food safety sanitizing procedures and maintain compliance with health regulations Oversee shift management, including delegating tasks to ensuring smooth operational flow during busy hours Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff and to foster teamwork and professional growth Ensure proper food service procedures are followed during events and daily restaurant service Collaborate with dietary departments to accommodate special dietary needs and enhance customer satisfaction Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment aligned with all health and safety protocols Experience Proven experience in food production, kitchen management, or restaurant leadership within a hospitality or food service setting Supervising experience managing teams of cooks or kitchen staff. Familiarity with fine dining standards, menu planning, and culinary techniques Knowledge of inventory management systems, cost control strategies, and food safety sanitizing procedures Demonstrated ability to lead shifts effectively while maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and foster a positive work environment
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
