Overview Rehabilitation Hospital of the Northwest - Post Falls, ID Rehabilitation Hospital of the Northwest in Post Falls, Idaho offers specialized inpatient rehabilitation services for patients throughout northern Idaho and the Inland Northwest. As a leading rehab hospital, we help individuals overcome the challenges of strokes, amputee, traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, complex orthopedic injuries, and other serious conditions with comprehensive therapy programs. We are certified by The Joint Commission in Stroke and Amputee. Our caring clinical team provides one-on-one physical, occupational, and speech therapy, along with 24/7 nursing and physician support, all in a comfortable, healing environment. Qualifications Required Skills:
Current state Registered Nurse license required. Current CPR Certification required. One (1) year recent experience required. Acute care setting preferred. ACLS certification preferred.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
Knowledge of and adherence to current nursing theory and practice, infection control, and wound care standards of practice. Knowledge of accreditation standards to ensure adherence to all standards set forth by state and accrediting agencies of TJC and CMS. Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures, and utilizes proper policies, procedures, and guidelines in caring for patients. Demonstrates critical thinking skills.
Demonstrates general computer skills including:
data entry, word processing, email, and record management. Effective organizational and time management skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality. Ability to work closely and professionally with others. Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards. Responsibilities The House Supervisor is responsible for administrative supervision of nursing services on the assigned shift. Supervises and coordinates activities of nursing personnel to maintain continuity of patient care. Provides professional nursing care to patients within assigned unit. Integrates the hospital's mission and "Guiding Principles" into daily practice.
