POSITION SUMMARY
The mission of the Apple Canyon Lake Property Owners Association is to bring a superior level of service to the local community, ensuring that members and guests have a exceptional lake living experience that will not only encourage return visits, but generate excitement and, ultimately, increase pride in property ownership and property values. The Food & Beverage Team is the front line to deliver this experience, whether its through the Pro Shop, the Marina, or the Cove Dining.
Staff Management & Leadership Recruit & Train:
Hire and train front-of-house staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Scheduling:
Create shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage for peak hours and special events.
Pre-Shift Meetings:
Conduct daily briefings to relay specials, menu changes, and VIP guest preferences.
Customer Experience & Operations Guest Relations:
Greet guests, manage reservations and floor plans, and proactively resolve customer complaints.
Service Flow:
Coordinate with the Executive Chef and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
Quality Control:
Inspect the dining room prior to service to ensure cleanliness, appropriate lighting, and properly stocked supplies.
Administration & Financials Inventory:
Monitor and replenish dining room supplies, such as silverware, linens, glassware, and condiments.
Reporting:
Generate sales summaries, track labor costs, and monitor expense reports.
Compliance:
Ensure all staff adhere to local health codes, sanitation guidelines, and facility regulations
Education:
High school or
GED Working Conditions:
The majority of the work will be performed, standing, or walking. Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks, such as dangerous equipment or chemicals.
