As a key team member, you will lead restaurant staff during your shift, manage food preparation and service, uphold food safety standards, and maintain a positive environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards and safety regulations Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Control inventory levels, monitor food supplies, and assist with food management to minimize waste and optimize costs Train new team members on food safety procedures, customer service protocols, and operational standards Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all guests Assist with shift management tasks including scheduling, staffing adjustments, and maintaining cleanliness standards Requirements Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience required Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within the food industry or hospitality sector Knowledge of food safety management practices, inventory control, and food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash transactions, inventory counts, and sales analysis Strong leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and communicate managerial expectations clearly Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset Experience in managing hospitality teams, including shift management, training & development, and team leadership Prior experience in casual dining or fine dining settings is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us as a Restaurant Shift Leader where your leadership will drive success!
