POSITION SUMMARY
The Food Production Supervisor plans, administers and directs all unit activities related to food production, culinary operations and complying with the standards established by the Food & Nutrition Services Department and regulatory agencies. Lead food production staff. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified food service experience for patients, visitors and Mission Partners. Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
• Associate Degree in culinary or three years of experience as a lead in the food service or hospitality industry.
Licensure/Certifications:
• Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) through ANSI approved program within 90 days of employment • Allergen certification within 90 days of employment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor Degree Experience:
• 5 Years of experience in related position, such as Food Production Supervisor in a Healthcare setting
Licensure/Certifications:
• Certified Dietary Manager Other skills/knowledge: • Purchasing, Culinary, Math, and Computer skills. OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
