Job Description

Organic Life - District 428 is looking for a Cafeteria Manager to oversee our cafeteria and serve customers in a fast-paced environment. No nights! No weekends! Holidays off! The Cafeteria Manager will be responsible for the daily operation of the cafeteria, including food preparation, service, ordering, production and all food safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, and will be able to demonstrate knowledge of HACCP guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure food quality and safety Maintain a clean and sanitized cafeteria Ensure timely and accurate food service Control inventory by ordering supplies and food Maintain a clean and safe working environment Perform daily cleaning duties. Keep kitchen equipment in good working order by maintaining it's repairable parts inventory, reporting any issues to the Food Service Director as needed. Supervise and lead a team of Cafeteria workers and Monitors daily. Comply with all sanitation regulations and safety standards Work with other departments to ensure smooth operations of the cafeteria Ensure the highest quality of products to all students and staff Skills Proven experience as a Cafeteria Manager or relevant position Understanding of food safety regulations/codes/standards Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking, and/or serving techniques Familiarity with kitchen equipment and Safety Excellent organizational skills Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure Commitment to excellent customer service and high standards Food Safety Manager Certification (Provided).
