The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and restaurant management, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, ensuring all staff members are performing their duties efficiently. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste. Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance their skills in customer service, food preparation, and safety protocols. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas. Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and presentation that meets our fine dining standards. Assist in scheduling shifts for staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours. Monitor financial transactions, including cash handling procedures, to maintain accuracy in reporting. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry. Strong knowledge of food production processes, kitchen operations, and inventory management. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members alike. Understanding of food safety standards and best practices in a kitchen environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong leadership skills with the capability to motivate and inspire team members in a fast-paced setting.
