$21.00-$23.00 per hour (based on experience) + $1000 sign on bonus, benefits and perks
Status:
Non-Exempt, Full-Time Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday | 11:30 AM-7:30 PM (37.5 hours per week)

Position Overview Sedgebrook is seeking a Dining Room Lead to support daily food service operations in our Dining Room and Bistro. This hands-on leadership role is comparable to a Restaurant Supervisor or Front-of-House Supervisor, overseeing service execution, staff performance, guest satisfaction, and sanitation standards. This role is ideal for candidates with experience as a Shift Lead or Lead Server who are looking for more stability, consistent schedules, and meaningful guest interactions in a senior living environment. Key Responsibilities Lead front-of-house dining operations with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and service quality. Supervise daily restaurant-style service, including opening, closing, and shift coverage. Assist with staff scheduling, onboarding, and training for dining and bistro teams. Act as a floor leader during service, providing hands-on supervision and support. Coach team members on service standards, efficiency, and professionalism. Support POS system operation, troubleshooting, and staff training. Assist with special events, banquets, and high-volume service periods. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health department standards. Communicate effectively with managers regarding staffing, service flow, and performance issues. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required. 1+ year of restaurant, dining room, food service, or hospitality experience. Experience in roles such as Shift Lead or Lead Server preferred. Strong floor leadership skills in a fast-paced service environment. Ability to coach, supervise, and motivate a large service team. Experience with POS systems (Toast, Micros, Aloha, etc. - any POS experience encouraged). Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and service standards. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
