Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our dynamic team in the at Cinnabon/Auntie Anne's in Northbrook, IL. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Leader, you will oversee daily operations, ensure staff efficiency, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. This role is essential in creating a positive work environment while driving team performance. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new staff. Manage inventory control, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and orders are placed as needed. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently and train staff on its use. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the establishment. Provide training and support to new employees, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration. Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Assist in menu planning and culinary preparation as needed. Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and coaching to promote professional development. Requirements Previous experience in food service management or restaurant management is preferred. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of inventory control processes and best practices. Experience with POS systems is highly desirable. Culinary skills a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
