As a valued member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care to our residents.
Job Summary:
As a Weekend Shift Supervisor (RN), you will provide leadership and direction to the nursing team during the evening shift, ensuring that all aspects of resident care are met and exceeded. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the shift, including staffing, medication management, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Your leadership skills, clinical expertise, and passion for patient care will make you an invaluable asset to our team.Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team, promoting a positive and supportive work environment Coordinate and supervise the activities of the nursing team, ensuring that resident care is provided in accordance with established standards and policies Conduct regular rounds to assess the status of residents and ensure that their needs are being met Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the quality of care and services provided Participate in quality improvement initiatives and activities to promote continuous improvement Provide education and training to staff members to enhance their knowledge and skillsRequirements:
Current RN license in the state of Illinois Minimum of 3 years of experience in a long-term care setting Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and direct a team Excellent clinical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse population Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekendsWhat We Offer:
