Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Daytime Shift Lead to oversee daily operations during the daytime hours. In this role, you will be ensuring smooth service, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for hospitality excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop management skills while contributing to a vibrant team dedicated to providing top-tier service. Duties Supervise and coordinate all aspects of daytime food service operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste Oversee cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and daily financial reconciliations Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling standards and sanitation practices Experience Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a focus on daytime operations Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising or managing hospitality teams in casual dining or fine dining settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking Experience with inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food cost management Previous roles involving restaurant management, shift supervision, or assistant management are highly desirable
