Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions, cash handling, and order processing. Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food preparation zones in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food safety management practices including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures. Support team members with bussing tables, stocking supplies, and ensuring efficient restaurant operations during peak hours. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly while maintaining high standards of service. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and inventory management. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is advantageous. Retail sales experience or grocery store experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.
