Duties Supervise and coordinate daily food preparation, serving, and cashiering activities to ensure smooth operations during the day shift Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, engaging with guests, and upselling menu items to enhance sales performance Oversee food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols to maintain compliance with health regulations and company standards Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and transaction reconciliation Assist with food prep tasks, including assembling orders, maintaining cleanliness of workstations, and supporting kitchen staff as needed Conduct regular inventory checks, monitor food quality, and ensure proper food storage practices are followed Support team members through training on food service procedures, POS operation, and customer interaction techniques Requirements Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with knowledge of food preparation and service best practices Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cashiering and cash handling preferred Strong understanding of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts Proven ability to upsell menu items and contribute to sales goals through effective customer engagement Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude Experience working in a café or retail grocery environment is a plus but not required This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a lively team dedicated to quality service and delicious food.
