FOOD SERVICE SPECIALIST JOB DESCRIPTION
Food Service Specialist Responsibilities:
The Food Service Specialist has the ultimate responsibility for executing all aspects of the deli including maintaining product inventory levels, vendor invoice integrity, and maintaining compliance with all Company, local, and federal food safety procedures. The Food Service Specialist reports directly to the Store Manager. Food Service Specialist duties will include but are not limited to:Complete daily position based checklistPrepare and cook food, maintaining availability and consistency Adhere to all food safety procedures and standards within the course of performing job dutiesMaintain records and complete reports as it relates to inventory, sales and wasteExecute food preparation methods, portion sizes and presentation of food Manage product storage, maintain and rotate inventory to avoid damage/spoilageOrder product and maintain accurate inventory Any special tasks assigned
