Duties Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and consistency. Manage inventory control and food safety compliance by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, putting up orders, and maintaining accurate records. Oversee menu planning and food production processes to meet customer expectations and operational requirements. Lead, motivate, and develop kitchen staff through effective team management, shift coordination, and performance feedback. Ensure adherence to health regulations, safety protocols, and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas. Monitor food handling procedures and ensure proper storage practices to minimize waste and maximize freshness. Our Supervisor will work every other weekend, take calls from employees & offer instructions and solutions as needed, handle absences and be on call as needed Skills Proven supervising experience in fast-paced kitchen environments with strong leadership capabilities. Strong background in dietary department operations, restaurant management, and food service management. Proficiency in inventory management, inventory control, and food cost optimization strategies. Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and health regulations applicable to the food industry. Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead shifts effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
