Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Beverage Manager to lead our beverage operations with enthusiasm and expertise. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of beverage service, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining efficient management of bar and drink service teams. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for hospitality, a strong background in food and beverage management, and a commitment to creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. As a Beverage Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales, managing inventory, and fostering a team-oriented environment that emphasizes quality service and operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the beverage team to deliver outstanding service in both casual dining and fine dining settings. Oversee daily bar operations, including drink preparation, inventory control, and POS (Point of Sale) system management. Manage food and beverage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to prevent shortages while minimizing waste. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and reconciliation at shift end. Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost control; implement strategies accordingly. Coordinate with kitchen management on food production related to beverages, including catering or banquet services when applicable. Conduct staff interviews, oversee hiring processes, and support ongoing training & development initiatives to build a motivated team. Manage shift schedules efficiently to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours while maintaining team morale. Foster a vibrant hospitality environment by encouraging teamwork, leadership development, and exceptional customer engagement. Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and beverage crafting within casual dining or fine dining environments. Proficiency with POS systems Strong background in inventory control, food safety management, and budget oversight. Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising hospitality teams with the ability to train staff effectively. Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing, team management, and customer interactions. Proven ability to handle cash transactions accurately along with basic math skills for financial reconciliation. Knowledge of food industry standards including catering experience, banquet service, bar operations, and managing hospitality teams. Experience managing shift operations efficiently within fast-paced restaurant or bar settings; familiarity with managing profit & loss analysis is a plus. Deep understanding of food safety protocols combined with culinary experience related to beverage service or kitchen management. Ability to lead by example in promoting food safety standards while fostering an energetic team environment focused on guest satisfaction.
