Job Description

Overview Come tell the story and coordinate the experience for the Homewood Suites by Hilton, Downtown Salina. We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and flexible Banquet and Marketing Supervisor to fulfill this instrumental and unique position within our beautiful hotel. The ideal candidate will have a creative knack for social media marketing, as well as a great attention to detail for Banquet needs. Responsibilities Content Creation
  • develop and curate engaging content (text, images, videos) for various platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. Social Media Strategy
  • plan and execute social media campaigns aligned with business goals and target audience. Community Engagement
  • interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a sense of community. Analytics and Reporting
  • monitor social media performance, track key metrics, and analyze data to inform future strategies. Platform Management
  • manage and optimize social media profiles, pages, and accounts. Trend Monitoring
  • stay updated on the latest social media trends and best practices. Collaboration
  • work with other departments to ensure content alignment and promote company initiatives.
Collaborate with the sales team to drive advertising sales initiatives that enhance revenue growth. Create compelling copy for various marketing materials, including email marketing campaigns and promotional content. Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to inform strategic decisions and improve campaign performance. Supervise the marketing team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Event Management
  • oversee all aspects of event setup, service, and breakdown, including coordinating with other departments like kitchen and catering. Staff Supervision
  • assign tasks, monitor performance, provide training, and address any issues with banquet staff. Guest Interaction
  • greet guests, respond to requests and complaints, and ensure a positive experience. Service Quality
  • maintain high standards of food and beverage service, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Inventory Management
  • monitor and manage the inventory of supplies and equipment for events. Communication
  • communicate event details, timelines, and any changes to staff and clients. Client Liaison
  • work directly with event clients to address their needs and ensure their satisfaction. Health and Safety
  • ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed during event setup and execution. Problem Solving
  • address any issues that arise during the event in a timely and efficient manner. Coordination
  • work closely with other departments, such as the kitchen and sales team, to ensure the smooth execution of the event. Skills Required Leadership and Management
