As a key leader in our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supervising food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, managing inventory, and maintaining exceptional service quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic kitchen team and deliver memorable culinary moments to our guests. Duties Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food production, food handling, and food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Lead and manage kitchen staff by providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to foster a motivated and efficient team. Oversee menu planning and food preparation processes, ensuring high-quality presentation and consistency across all dishes. Manage inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste and optimize cost control. Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions by overseeing setup, service, and breakdown to deliver seamless guest experiences. Enforce strict adherence to food safety standards, including proper sanitation practices and safe food handling procedures. Monitor shift management activities, including scheduling staff coverage and ensuring smooth operational flow during busy periods. Qualifications Proven experience in banquet service, fine dining, catering, or restaurant management with a strong background in food production and kitchen operations. Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams as a chef or kitchen manager. Extensive knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, inventory management, and cost control strategies within the food industry. Familiarity with dietary department requirements and dietary accommodations for diverse guest needs. Strong skills in menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service management. Experience with managing large-scale events such as banquets or catering functions is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills coupled with a passion for hospitality and team leadership.
