The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional hospitality. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining inventory control while fostering a positive work environment. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations. Assist in training new employees on food management practices, POS systems, and customer service protocols. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain optimal stock levels. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen areas. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service. Collaborate with management on budgeting and financial planning to optimize operational efficiency. Support patio activities as needed, ensuring quality food/beverage service. Experience Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or in a leadership role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of inventory control processes and food safety standards. Familiarity with POS systems and kitchen operations is essential. Experience in budgeting and financial management within a restaurant setting is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
