Job Description
Front of House Team Lead The Country Cajun - St. Gabriel, LA The Country Cajun is hiring a dependable, hands-on Front of House Team Lead to help lead our front-of-house operation during assigned shifts. This is a working leadership position. The Team Lead will be expected to stay active on the floor, support the team, maintain service standards, and help make sure guests receive fast, friendly, and consistent service. Responsibilities Lead the front-of-house team during assigned shifts Assign positions and keep employees focused and productive Help manage the counter, dining room, drive-thru, and guest service areas Maintain fast and friendly service standards Handle basic guest concerns and resolve issues when possible Assist with opening and closing procedures Help train and coach new employees Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the front of house Monitor employee appearance and service standards Communicate operational issues to management Assist with cash handling and register procedures as assigned Step into any front-of-house position when needed Help maintain a positive, professional work environment Qualifications Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred Previous shift lead or leadership experience is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable and punctual Comfortable giving direction and holding team members accountable Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment Able to remain professional during busy or stressful periods Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled Must be able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who leads by example. This person should be willing to work alongside the team, solve problems, take care of guests, and help management maintain the standards of The Country Cajun. The right candidate should be dependable, organized, approachable, and comfortable taking charge of a shift when needed.
