Pay Rate:

- _ •What you'll be doing as a
Lead Kitchen Steward:
- + Maintain current MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards + Supervise dishwashing operations, including the cleaning, storage, and organization of small wares, ensuring work areas are prepared for the next shift + Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules while maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen facilities, equipment, and dishwashing areas + Coordinate with the Facility Engineer regarding equipment maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance tracking + Manage inventory of small wares, monitor daily temperature logs for refrigeration equipment, and maintain organized food dock, dry storage, and freezer areas + Receive, inspect, and properly store food and non-food deliveries while maintaining inventory organization and par levels + Delegate assignments to stewarding staff, monitor productivity, conduct daily check-in/check-out procedures, and train team members on proper dishwashing techniques, chemical usage, storage procedures, and sanitation standards + Partner with the Executive Sous Chef to determine staffing levels and allocate personnel to maximize efficiency during daily operations and special events + Coordinate event logistics with the Catering Manager and Culinary team, including transportation of food, setup of hot boxes, plates, and breakdown stations + Assist with daily security procedures, including culinary department lockup, while maintaining a safe, organized, and code-compliant work environment + Promote a positive, high-energy work ethic while ensuring operational efficiency and exceptional teamwork + Perform other duties as assigned •Available shifts:•Shift timings - All Available •Job requirements:•+ Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady + High school diploma or equivalent required + Minimum of two years of kitchen experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role + Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, chemical handling, dishwashing procedures, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
+ Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills + Ability to support large-scale events and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment + Basic math skills and a client service-focused attitude + Non-slip shoes required + Background check required
