St. Joseph's House is an emergency overnight shelter program for men and women facing homelessness. We have an opening for a full time Shelter Shift Supervisor to support our progressive Shelter Manager in managing the largest shelter on Cape Cod.

Our Shift Supervisor will:

• Ensure compliance with operational rules and regulations on shift
• Ensure documentation is completed
• Supervise a small group of employees who are shelter monitors
• Conduct inspections during the shift and ensure the shelter guest are adhering to the rules of the shelter
• Ensure a safe environment for all
• Ensure the daily check in and inspection process is effectively and efficiently conducted
• Ensure all facility issues are addressed timely W hat is our culture like at our shelter?

• Associates degree preferred
• Some supervisory or team leader experience
• Experience in human services related field helpful, but not required
• Critical thinking skills, leadership skills and personal accountability for the quality and impact of work
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook.
• A reliable ensured vehicle, good driving record and valid driver's license
