Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team in a fine-dining restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Front of House Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure that guests have an outstanding dining experience. Your role will involve coordinating with kitchen management and other departments to maintain high standards of service and food quality. Duties Supervise front of house staff, ensuring adherence to service standards and operational procedures. Train and develop team members in customer service, food handling, and restaurant policies. Manage daily operations including cash handling, inventory control, and POS systems. Oversee shift management to ensure smooth transitions between shifts. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen management on menu planning, food production, and special events such as banquets or catering services. Conduct interviews for new hires and participate in the hiring process as needed. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene. Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food service management practices including budgeting, inventory control, and staff training. Experience with cash handling procedures and familiarity with POS systems Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Pay:
$27.00 per hour
