Job Description

Full-time opportunity for an experienced healthcare Food Service Director. The ideal candidate will have experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care food service and be a Certified Dietary Manager.
Location:
Bristol County, MA Responsibilities include: Plans nutritionally balanced & therapeutic meals per health guidelines. Responsible for purchasing, production, and timely service of meals. Directs and supervises dietary department and personnel. Daily inspections to ensure that dietary department is safe and sanitary. Monitors monthly budgets and expenditures. Hiring, training and orientation of dietary employees. Participates in QAPI Meetings and prepares reports accordingly. Staff scheduling, work assignments and performance reviews.
Qualifications:
Prior food service experience in long-term care setting, preferred. Prior food service experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, required. Well versed in the Federal and State regulations regarding nursing home dietary requirements. Certified Dietary Manager, required. Culinary or Nutritional degree, required.
