Supervise opening, mid, or closing procedures, ensuring all checklists and cash counts are completed accurately. Direct staff during busy shifts to maintain quick table turn times, efficient ticket flow, and smooth service. Delegate tasks fairly among staff members. Team Management & Support:
Train, coach, and mentor servers, cashiers, hosts, and kitchen staff. Foster a positive, high-energy work environment and resolve minor staff conflicts or issues on shift. Communicate shift priorities, daily specials, and targets during pre-shift huddles.
Guest Satisfaction & Quality Control:
Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly with professionalism and care. Ensure food safety, health standards, and hygiene regulations are strictly followed in both kitchen and dining areas. Monitor food output for consistent quality, presentation, and accuracy.
Administrative & Cash Handling:
Balance registers, manage safe drops, and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts. Assist management with inventory tracking, restock monitoring, and recording waste/spoilage.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience:
1+ years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment, preferably with previous leadership, supervisor, or head server experience.
Certifications:
(preferred) Valid Food Handler / Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain before start date); ServSafe Alcohol / Responsible Vendor certification where applicable.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive and make calm, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems (e.g., Toast, Square, Clover, Shift). Basic math skills for handling cash registers and shift reports.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 30-50 lbs, and work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 18.0 per week
