Duties Prepare and serve nutritious meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards Assist with food production, including portioning, plating, and presentation to ensure appealing meals for residents or patients Maintain cleanliness by cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, dining areas, and adhering to sanitation protocols Support food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and prevent contamination Bus tables, clear trays, and assist with meal delivery to ensure efficient service flow Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with stock rotation to minimize waste Focusing heavily on hot food programs (like hand-breaded Chester's Chicken, sides, and the heated display cases) Qualifications Previous experience in food industry roles is highly desirable Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation practices Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts Ability to follow detailed instructions related to food handling and safety protocols Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Experience in dietary aide roles or dietary department work is a plus Basic kitchen experience including cooking, cleaning, and meal preparation techniques Join us in creating a warm, welcoming environment where quality food meets compassionate care.
