Direct HirePosition OverviewA growing food manufacturing organization is seeking a PM Warehouse Supervisor to provide hands-on leadership for its night-shift warehouse operations.

This position is responsible for ensuring warehouse activities are completed safely, accurately, efficiently, and on schedule . The Supervisor will lead employees on the floor, establish shift priorities, monitor productivity, address operational issues, and ensure outbound shipments and inventory activities meet established standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily warehouse activities during the assigned night shift
  • Assign work and establish priorities based on shipping and operational requirements
  • Ensure outbound orders are prepared and shipped accurately and on schedule
  • Monitor employee attendance, staffing levels, workload, and productivity
  • Coach, train, cross-train, and develop warehouse employees
  • Address performance issues and reinforce expectations consistently
  • Maintain compliance with warehouse SOPs, safety requirements, and established processes
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Transportation, and other departments to resolve operational issues
  • Communicate shift results, outstanding issues, and priorities to warehouse management
  • Identify operational problems and support root-cause resolution
  • Participate in continuous-improvement initiatives and implementation of new warehouse processes and technology
  • Provide hands-on support to the warehouse team when operational needs require it.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing logistics, or similar operational experience preferred
  • 1+ year of warehouse leadership, team-lead, or supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience within food manufacturing, cold storage, refrigerated warehousing, or high-volume distribution strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, warehouse safety, and scheduling
  • Experience with WMS/ERP systems, RF scanners, timekeeping systems, and Microsoft Office preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to coach employees, establish expectations, and maintain accountability
  • Comfortable working in refrigerated/freezer environments
  • Must be available to work Sunday through Thursday from 6:00 PM-2:00 AM , with occasional weekend or holiday coverage as operational needs require.
Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a visible, hands-on warehouse leader who is comfortable spending time on the floor with their team. They can balance safety, quality, shipping deadlines, inventory accuracy, and productivity while remaining calm when operational problems arise.

They should be comfortable holding employees accountable while also coaching and developing them , and should have experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
