Job Description

As a Nutrition Services Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of patient dining, retail food service, catering, and food production while leading a dedicated team focused on quality, safety, and outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Supervise the daily operations of patient meal service, retail dining, catering, and food production. Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Nutrition Services team members. Create schedules, manage staffing needs, and ensure appropriate shift coverage. Maintain compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP standards, infection prevention practices, and Joint Commission requirements. Monitor food quality, presentation, portion control, and waste reduction initiatives. Assist with inventory management, product ordering, PAR levels, and FIFO practices. Address customer concerns and promote an exceptional dining experience. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support departmental performance goals. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 3-5 years of food service experience. Strong leadership and customer service skills. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP principles. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and organizational skills. ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification within six months of hire. Preferred Associate degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, or a related field. Two years of supervisory experience. Healthcare food service experience. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification.
