Warehouse Supervisor 2nd Shift -

New Gloucester, ME Full time | Permanent | Operations Hewitt is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift to join our production team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. About the Role As Warehouse Supervisor - 2nd Shift, you'll oversee the maintenance and organization of the warehouse, freezer, and dry storage areas. You are responsible for staging raw materials for the production team, communicating effectively with managers, supervisors and other departments, keeping track of inventory levels, and overseeing shipping/receiving operations. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring team members follow established training protocols and complete assigned tasks efficiently. Ongoing training, coaching, and delegation are key aspects of this role, and the Warehouse Supervisor is encouraged to actively support team development through consistent guidance. Key Responsibilities Maintain organized and efficient warehouse, freezer, and dry goods storage. Rotate raw materials and finished goods, transfer aging products to freezer. Operate forklift and electric pallet jack. Operate yard truck as needed. Maintain accurate inventory counts and perform checks against ERP numbers. Prepare raw materials needed for production. Interface with Production team to ensure finished goods are as required by work orders. Support Shipping/Receiving with picking and staging sales orders and receiving purchase orders. Experience A minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a warehouse or similar environment is preferred. Experience driving and operating a yard truck to move 53' trailers around the property and pulling in and out of a loading dock. No CDL required. Strong organizational and communication skills are required. Must have demonstrated experience in warehouse and shipping/receiving processes, preferably in meat or perishables industry. Experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks is required. Must have experience with inventory management software and a basic understanding of computer systems. Certifications Valid driver's license is required. Previous electric pallet jack & forklift certification is preferred - will train/certify onsite.
