Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. The Shift Leader will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment.Duties:
- Supervise and lead a team of employees during shifts
- Ensure smooth operations and adherence to company policies
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns
- Assist in training new employees and conducting performance evaluations
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
- Handle cash transactions and balance registers
Skills:
- Previous experience in the culinary or hospitality industry
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and equipment
- Experience in interviewing and training staff
- Understanding of restaurant management practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
