Duties Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service at the counter, ensuring a welcoming environment. Prepare and assemble food items efficiently following safety and sanitation standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process sales accurately and quickly. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Upsell menu items and suggest additional products to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing work areas, and adhering to food safety regulations. Assist with food preparation tasks in the kitchen or café area to support overall operations. Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to meet health standards. Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting. Experience Previous experience in food service, retail, or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, sanitation practices, and food safety standards is advantageous. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that fosters positive interactions. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations. Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or café setting helps ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
