Full Job Description Essential Functions of Role:
This is "hands on" Leadership production operation role. Meeting USDA, HACCP, GMFP, and Company standards and under the supervision of the Operation Manager for Load & Haul, assists with overseeing the leadership and management of the processes and associates to meet the needs and expectations of customers, department and organization. Making sure that all equipment is 100 % in condition to operate properly and that the line starts on time. Assisting, interviewing and training new associates Conducting meetings with associates on changes and other jobs related issues Making sure that associates are informed and follow the rules, polices and procedures for USDA, OSHA and MIOSHA Teaching associates the importance of working safe and in a team environment
Qualifications:
Must have 0-1 years of experience in this position Must have proven leadership skills Must be able to motivate others, initiate change and perform with integrity Must be able to problem solve and assist with resolution Must be able to work with little to no daily supervision Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions Must be able to implement all the rules and procedures established by the HACCP program and must be able to work very closely with U.S.D.A. Must have attention to detail. Must be able to speak, read and write the English language Spanish speaking ability a definite plus Must be able to work safely Must maintain excellent attendance Must be able to maintain good records of all production Must be able to perform other tasks assigned by Operation Manager Must be able to work in a team environment Must be able to and must wear necessary Personal Protective Wear required while performing role: Protective Eye Wear Ear plugs Hard Hat Hair Net Protective Coat (clothing protector) Forearm protection Plastics gloves Cotton gloves Plastic aprons
