Full - Time Dining Services Director - Lead with Flavor and Care! Are you ready to lead a team that brings comfort and care through food? We're seeking a Dining Services Director to oversee all aspects of meal planning, preparation, and service for our residents. This is more than a job—it's an opportunity to create meaningful experiences through nutritious, delicious meals.
What You'll Do:
1. Nutritional Excellence & Menu Planning
  • Ensure residents receive balanced, appealing, and medically appropriate meals.
  • Coordinate menu development with registered dietitian input and resident feedback.
  • Menus align with dietary needs (low-sodium, diabetic-friendly, etc.)
  • Resident satisfaction with meals
  • Compliance with physician-ordered diets 2. Regulatory Compliance & Food Safety
  • Adhere to state, federal, and local health codes, including food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Prepare for and pass all inspections and audits.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and training logs
  • Conduct internal food safety audits 3. Budget & Inventory Management
  • Manage food service budget effectively, controlling waste and optimizing resources.
  • Ensure proper inventory control to avoid shortages or overstock.
  • Accurate tracking and reporting of inventory
  • Regular cost analysis and forecasting 4. Team Leadership & Staff Development
  • Hire, train, schedule, and manage dietary staff.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture with accountability and professional development.
  • Staff competency and morale
  • Timely performance reviews and corrective actions 5. Resident Experience & Communication
  • Engage regularly with residents and families for feedback.
  • Collaborate with nursing and care teams for holistic care.
  • Handle dietary concerns promptly and empathetically
  • Participate in care planning meetings as needed
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years in a senior living community
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.

$26.00 - $34.00 per hour
