Dietary Manager Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietary Manager to join our team at HSM Management in Winona, Minnesota. As a Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dining services, ensuring the highest quality of food, hospitality, and patient satisfaction. Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of our dining services, including food preparation, presentation, and service Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents, patients, and clients Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and quality control measures Manage inventory, ordering, and food procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery Supervise, train, and mentor dietary staff, including cooks, servers, and dishwashers Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and supplies Develop, implement, and maintain department policies, procedures, and protocols Collaborate with healthcare professionals, nutritionists, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of dietary services Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure adherence to quality standards Stay up-to-date with the latest food trends, menu planning, and nutritional science to continuously improve our dining services
Requirements:
Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management, or related field (n/a) Minimum (n/a) years of experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and quality control measures Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
