This role is responsible for helping maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, organization, and team coordination to ensure smooth and efficient service. Responsibilities Lead and support back of house team members during scheduled shifts. Help ensure food is prepared, portioned, and presented according to established standards. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times. Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating supplies. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures consistently. Assist with training new team members on station procedures and operational expectations. Coordinate workflow to help meet service demands and minimize delays. Communicate effectively with management and front of house team members as needed. Address minor operational issues promptly and escalate concerns when appropriate. Support a positive team culture through professionalism, accountability, and teamwork. Qualifications 2-3 years previous experience in a kitchen, food service, or similar back of house environment. Strong Plating background and running the hot line. Experience leading or supporting a team in a fast-paced setting is preferred. Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and operational best practices. Ability to follow procedures, maintain quality standards, and stay organized under pressure. Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and perform routine kitchen tasks.
